DON’T WAIT UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE!

DON’T WAIT UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE!

FOCUS ON WHAT IS IMPORTANT!

Covid-19 has made all of us re-evaluate our lives and our priorities. During lockdown, people started de-cluttering and realising they did not need more things. There has been a move to simplify and streamline our lives. We have all realised that we need to concentrate on what is important – family, experiences and special memories.

As a result I have had an influx of people wanting to watch their old family videos and needing to convert them to DVD or flash disk. In most cases, I have been able to retrieve the footage and the clients went away happy, knowing that they would be able to enjoy their precious videos once again. But sometimes, after doing all I could to retrieve the footage, like cleaning copious amounts of mould off a tape, repairing a badly damaged tape or replacing a tape’s casing, I have had to make that dreaded call to tell my client their memories are lost for ever.

When that footage is as precious as the only copy of your wedding or your baby’s birth or first steps, is it really worth waiting until you finally get around to it?

Don’t wait until it is too late!
